Access Statement for EVERGREEN LODGE Trebetherick 


Evergreen Lodge is a detached house, mostly 2 stories, situated down a side road on the seaward side of the Rock to Polzeath road.  It is opposite to the St Moritz Hotel and Holiday Apartments block. It has garden to the front and back. 


• We have a website, with information and pictures...  
• Bookings / enquiries can be made directly from the website via email, or via telephone, fax or by letter.   
• All guests are provided with information about the house, necessary instructions and written directions to the house                
• The nearest bus stop is at Trebetherick on the Rock / Polzeath road   - 50m away 
• Bodmin Road railway station is about 40 minutes by car 
• The nearest RADAR toilet is at Polzeath,3/4 mile down steep hill
• Telephone numbers of taxi operators are provided with the directions to the house 
• This access statement is available on request and in  the 'Welcome File' in the cottage. 
• Tesco at Wadebridge operates a delivery service  

Arrival & Car Parking Facilities

• There is parking for 5 cars in front of the house on tarmac, with additional parking if necessary on the adjacent lawn
• The tarmac leads directly to the front door, where there is one step up to the door 

Main Entrance, Reception & Ticketing Area

• The front door opens into an outer lobby with sunken door mat. There is a coat and hat stand, and a welcome file on a separate stand (old washstand)
• Access to the inner hall is through a door with spring closure (can be propped open) 

Public Areas - Hall, Stairs, Landing, Corridors etc

• The inner hall is a passage connecting with the Flat unit on the right and the main lodge on the left. No steps.
• Directly opposite the door from the outer lobby is an under the stairs cupboard containing the master telephone and fax, Wi Fi, tourist literature and other information. 

Public Areas - Sitting room, lounges, lobbies etc

• The lounge is situated off the Dining Room, accessed by 1 small step down
• The Lounge contains 3 x 3seater sofas, 2 armchairs and 1 stool
   Colour Sky television with DVD player, Video player, and CD player          with radio, each with remote control
• There is a library of books and videos
• Open fireplace 

The TV room in the West Wing contains  colour Sky Plus wall mounted television with DVD player, Video player, and CD player , with surround sound .

Public WCs

• There is 1 standard wc in the laundry room 

Restaurant / Dining Room, Bar & Bar area, Take Away & Cafe

• The Dining Room is next to and on the same level as the hall.
• There is one large table with 10 chairs
• There is a secondary table of the same width and height as the main table which can provide an extension, enabling a total of 16 people to sit down.  Normally this is used as a separate work table.
• There is an electric piano with stool. 


• Leads off from the sun room, accessed by 1 shallow step down from the dining room
